I’m a 24-year-old Latina from California, born on the Day of the Dead, a day that celebrates life, memories, and the connection to our ancestors. This spiritual heritage has profoundly influenced my creativity and perspective. My upbringing has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty of life and the importance of self-expression.

As a child, I was always drawn to art and crafting, finding joy in creating pieces that resonated with my emotions and experiences. I started my jewelry business, Diosa Mariposa (meaning “butterfly goddess”), as the first step toward my bigger dream of creating a clothing brand that celebrates all sizes and styles. I chose this name because it reflects my journey of growth and transformation. Like a butterfly, I’m constantly evolving, and “Diosa” embodies the strength and beauty we each carry within.
